110' River Class Towboat

The 110’ John Bludworth vessels built with Caterpillar 3516 at 3300 hp per set. The 110’ cross over vessels are design to be efficient in both the canal and the river. The 110’ class will allow operations to bring barges straight from the canal into the river without having to swap tows with a larger vessel. The vessels are designed to carry a crew of up to 7 people with significant comfort.

 

 

• 3,300 hp, with fuel efficient, CAT 3516 diesel engines
• Tier I EPA rated, estimated maximum 3000 gallons fuel burn per day in the river route with less then 2 gallon lube oil loss
• Dimension:  110’x32’x11’
• Unrestricted Higher Pilot Eyelevel, at 34’10”, (Standard eyelevel 30’0”)
• Operating Draft, commissioned at 9’0” for river operation
• Bridge Clearance at 42’6”,
